ΒΆ Update Configuration through Master Data
In the Configuration Editor, the Update button allows you to refresh component properties with the changed properties of the corresponding modules.

The following properties are always updated:
- Material number
- Business area
- Technical data
- Procurement type
- Long-run identifier
- Output level
- Product price group
- External article
- Department
- Locked identifier
- Origin of the deviating quantity
- Deletion protection
- Functional group (optional)
- Price positioning position (optional)
The following properties are updated if they have not been manually set:
- Construction type
- Cost group (optional)
- Weight per piece (optional)
- Grouping identifier (optional)
For the properties marked as "optional", it can be defined in the system settings whether they should be considered during the master data update:
