LEEGOO BUILDER works database-based and exclusively with Microsoft SQL Server. The relevant minimum requirements for the individual components are listed below:
The operating system of your SQL server can be either at least Windows Server 2012 or Windows 10. However, Windows Server 2019 or Windows 10 are preferable.
Minimum version | Recommended version | Not fully tested yet |
---|---|---|
Windows Server 2012 | Windows Server 2019 | Windows Server 2022 |
Windows 10 | Windows 10 | Windows 11 |
The processor of your SQL server should be at least a dualcore with 2GHz. That is, it works with 2 cores. However, a quadcore or octacore processor with 3Ghz working with 4 cores, or 8 cores in the case of the octacore processor, is recommended.
Minimum | Recommended |
---|---|
Dualcore (2 Kerne) | Quad/Octacore (4/8 Kerne) |
2Ghz | 3Ghz |
RAM is the main storage accessed directly by the processor. Its size affects the total performance of the computer system. For sufficient speed your SQL server should have at least 2GB of RAM.
Minimum | Recommended |
---|---|
2GB | 8GB |
Your installed SQL server requires free disk space. We recommend a minimum of 50GB of free storage capacity.
Minimum | Recommended |
---|---|
50GB | 100GB |
The hard disk’s capacity should be at least twice the size of the database but no less than 50GB.
LEEGOO BUILDER works exclusively with Microsoft SQL Server. Therefore, the minimum installed version must be Microsoft SQL-Server 2012. Better, and recommended by us, would be a later version, for example Microsoft SQL Server 2019.
Minimum | Recommended |
---|---|
Microsoft SQL-Server 2016 | Microsoft SQL-Server 2019 |
For the smooth operation of LEEGOO BUILDER your desktop will additionally need to meet the minimum requirements listed below. Your computer should therefore meet these recommendations as a minimum.
The operating system of your desktop can be either at least Windows Server 2012 or Windows 7. LEEGOO BUILDER works with both systems. However, we recommend the specified maximum version.

The RAM, that is the main storage, of your desktop should at least meet the following requirements:
Minimum | Recommended |
---|---|
3GB system memory | 5GB system memory |
Minimum | Recommended |

2GB free memory | 4GB free memory |
Whilst the Windows swap file makes it possible to work with LEEGOO BUILDER G3 with less RAM, this can result in an enormous loss of performance because the storage is mainly located on the hard disk.
Your desktop’s hard disk should have at least 1GB of free storage space, preferably more. We recommend 5GB of free hard disk capacity.
Minimum | Recommended |
---|---|
1GB | 5GB |
All fonts required for the generation of company-specific documents, especially proprietary fonts, must be installed on all computers with a client installation of LEEGOO BUILDER.
This scenario is intended to serve as a schematic representation of the infrastructure for an application with approximately 200 users. Here the SQL server runs in a Failover-Cluster, so that the fault-free execution of the application can continue even when an SQL server fails. The LEEGOO BUILDER G3 application itself is virtualised with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly XenApp und XenDesktop). These instances are distributed over 3 workers.
